Membership is free and open to registered charities and non-profits with the following benefits:
Membership shows that you have reached a certain level of expertise in your field and provides you with collaborative opportunities which adds to your credibility. As a result members are able to promote their projects and news on our website and social media.
Members can access our equipment and project database which gives you access to high-quality, second hand equipment free of charge.
Information and Advice
Members can access our Aid and International Development Handbook providing best practice guidelines for projects, as well as donations policies, project policies and volunteer agreement templates.
Fulfilling Corporate & Social Responsibility
The recycling of redundant appliances and equipment from UK services and suppliers to areas of the world in need is both morally and environmentally the right thing to do. Equipment donations promote positive social and environmental change and saves lives.
Membership is useful for making and developing new contacts and learning about what’s happening in the Aid and International Development sector. National exposure and conferences also offer excellent networking and project collaboration opportunities.
Continuous professional development (CPD) is essential if you want to forge a successful career. Our projects offer personal development opportunities which gives added professional credibility.
Membership is by invitation or application. Interested applicants can write to us at email@example.com you will be asked to submit the following for consideration:
- Proof of registration
- Mission statement
- An organisation profile outlining your work and areas of focus
- A statement outlining how your objectives meet those of FIRE AID
